African Americans are the racial/ethnic group most affected by HIV. In 2009, African Americans comprised 14% of the US population but accounted for 44% of all new HIV infections. In 2005, Hispanics accounted for 14.4% of the U.S. population but accounted for 18.9% of persons who received an AIDS diagnosis. We'll talk about bringing awareness to this epidemic and what our government and local leaders are doing to combat it. Featuring:
